Welcome to Yummy Choo Eats!
I’m a foodie chick, always have been. I love food, eating it, experimenting with it, creating it, feeding people.. funny enough I never used to like food when I was a baby (my mother had trouble feeding me the usual baby store bought food.. where I would prefer my mum’s homemade Mauritian cuisine instead! So I guess you can say I had a taste for food at an early age… I went on to get an A in Food Technology for my GCSE (possibly another sign i was made to be involved with food) and later to start up my own cake business that is Yummy Choo, creating homemade cakes after the success of baking for my work colleagues, family and friends. And here I am now, many cookery classes later, food festivals visited, travelling… still wanting more…!
I love pleasing people and getting satisfaction out of family or friends who have ‘yummed’ and ‘ahhhhed’ their way through my recipes. So here I want to share with the world my life loves in food and adventures!
Enjoy food!

Lovely blog… great recipes and photos!
thank you!
Just discovered your blog after reading about you in the Mauritian club magazine. Awesome recipes that I will have to try. Your supper club sounds great too, although I am in North London so not sure if it’s only a local thing! Best wishes. Richard
